GOLDEN BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE - Serves 2
This gorgeous glass of sunshine is a powerhouse of goodness. Bursting with vitamins, anti-inflammatory goodies and omega-3, 6 and 9 fatty acids for brain, vision and heart health, the whole family will love it. And the best part? It’s ready in just five minutes.
Smoothies are a deliciously easy way to boost your intake of fruit and veg. Blending instead of juicing ensures that all nutrients and fibre remain preserved.
INGREDIENTS
1 medium carrot, roughly chopped
1 banana, roughly chopped
3 medjool dates,
1 thin slice of ginger
1/4 tsp ground turmeric
Pinch black pepper
1 tbsp Udos Choice Ultimate Oil Blend
250g full fat yoghurt, or soy or coconut yoghurt
100 -150 ml water
METHOD
1. Blend all ingredients in a strong blender, pour into two glasses and enjoy!
